Canadian Custom Ridez Club hosting Charity Rally in Kemptville this May

A group of vehicle modding enthusiasts will be coming to Kemptville to support a local animal rescue this spring.

The Canadian Custom Ridez Club, a group first founded in Abbotsford, British Columbia in 2018 for people to show off their modified cars and trucks, is hosting a “Charity Rally” in Kemptville.

The rally will see riders meet up in Ottawa on the morning of May 27th, and drive from the city to the Kemptville Pet Valu, convening in the parking lot to let visitors see their vehicles and collect donations.

All the money raised at the event is going towards the Spencerville TNR Cat Rescue, a shelter that neuters stray cats and puts them up for adoption, to help control the population of strays in the region.

Participation in the event costs $25, and staff members with the organization say volunteers are also needed to make sure the rally runs smoothly.

You can find more information, and an email address you can reach out to with any questions, on the Canadian Custom Ridez Club Facebook page.
