Update: The watch has ended
There’s a severe thunderstorm watch in effect for the area.
Environment Canada has issued the watch and says conditions are favourable for the development of dangerous thunderstorms that can produce damaging wind gusts. It says that these wind gusts can damage buildings or down trees.
Environment Canada says you should continue to monitor alerts and forecasts that are issued.
