The weather for trick-or-treaters on Halloween isn’t looking too scary.
Environment Canada Senior Climatologist David Phillips says when it comes to being a meteorologist, the most important day of the year is Halloween as both children and their parents are counting on you to tell them what to expect.
He says many also depend on meteorologists to produce good weather, something he says is unfortunately out of their control.
However, Phillips tells the Vista Radio Newsroom that Saturday is shaping up to be perfect.
“Out of a ten out of ten, this is going to be a ten day. It’s absolutely going to be gorgeous. There’s a large high pressure system over New England. There’s no storm and no wind.”
Phillips adds this Halloween will be the reverse of what we saw last year when it wouldn’t stop raining.
