Adam Harlow pancake breakfast raises $2,750

The Adam Harlow Fellowship Fund pancake breakfast brought in dollars for local kids to play hockey. The fundraising event was held on Saturday and Sunday at the North Grenville Municipal Centre.

The fund is named in memory of a local hockey player who passed away in 2002. It covers registration fees for kids who want to play hockey but couldn’t otherwise afford to.

Adam’s father, Bob Harlow, says the fund sponsored 11 kids last year. He says the fund started 17 years ago and has sponsored 180 kids to play hockey in North Grenville.

Approximately 550 breakfasts were served, bringing in $2,750 for the fund.

Harlow says he’ll never say no to a donation, whether it’s $5 or $100. He says it all goes towards a good cause.
