A young local man is in hospital recovering from several hours of surgery this morning after a serious collision on Tuesday morning. Friends and family of Darrin Busby are sharing prayers and words of encouragement on Facebook. According to a post by his mother, Busby worked all night Monday and went missing after dropping a friend off near Burritts Rapids. According to witnesses, his truck was located later Tuesday morning in a field and he was airlifted by helicopter to hospital. Ottawa Police confirm there was a serious collision near Donnelly and Gilroy the morning of September 23rd but they will not provide further comment on the ongoing investigation. Busby is scheduled for another surgery today.
