A man from South Dundas is facing charges following a police investigation.
Around 7:50PM Tuesday evening, Stormont Dundas and Glengarry OPP responded to reports of a domestic situation at a residence on Sir James Morris Drive in South Dundas. Following the investigation the officers came to the conclusion that there had been an altercation between a 24-year-old male and his common-law spouse. During the disturbance both the spouse and a female guest were assaulted. Property was also found damaged inside the home.
The man was arrested and is being held at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall until after a bail hearing. The name of the accused is being withheld to protect the identity of the victims.
