Support group for parents and caregivers of children dealing with mental health or addiction challenges

There’s a new group meeting that supports parents and caregivers with children who are dealing with mental health and/or addiction challenges.

The meeting takes place on Tuesday from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at Kemptville District Hospital in the Courtyard Lounge.

The monthly event is a partnership between the Parents’ Lifelines of Eastern Ontario, Children’s Mental Health of Leeds & Grenville and KDH.

The idea is for parents and caregivers to get together, share and exchange strategies, and support each other. The event also allows people to find out about various services available in the community that can help.
