Environment Canada has issued a rainfall warning for the region.
It says we should expect to see 40 to 60 millimetres of rain between today and Sunday. Because the ground is already saturated, Environment Canada says we could see localized flooding.
The Rideau Valley Conservation Authority has now issued a flood warning for the Long Reach of the Rideau River between Kemptville and Kars and says to expect water to flow over some of the access roads and properties in low lying areas.
