South Branch Elementary School had the opportunity to host a special visitor from Italy.
Italian Principal Anna Origgi visited Kemptville through a professional exchange with the Ontario Principals’ Council last week. Origgi was the guest of South Branch Principal Jill Pensa, who visited her school in Italy recently.
Origgi praised the Upper Canada District School Board’s schools for their collaborative nature. She says teachers and students work together to increase engagement and enhance learning.
Origgi says she’ll take what she’s learned back to Italy and see if some of Ontario’s practices can be incorporated within her school system.
