Students break Popsicle stick bridge record

No one can build a Popsicle stick bridge like kids from Perth and District Collegiate Institute.

A team from the school now holds the five-year record at the regional event with a bridge that withheld 146.7 kilograms before collapsing.

Oxford-on-Rideau Public School’s team came in second at 78.2 kilograms.

Twenty-seven student teams from nine Upper Canada District School Board Schools in Lanark, Leeds and Grenville participated in the event.
