The Municipality of North Grenville is hoping to replace a couple of larger vehicles.
Members of council heard about the process to buy a new one tonne truck and a new tractor for public works.
Both purchases are expected to come in under budget after the tendering process with the recommendation that the truck be bought from Bean Chevrolet Buick GMC for just over $50,000 and the utility tractor for sidewalk work being purchased from Weagant Farm Supplies for a little over $93,000.
Both purchases are to replace older equipment within the municipality’s public works department. The final vote on the tenders come Monday.
