Four people are being recognized for their compassionate care at Winchester District Memorial Hospital.
It’s part of the Commitment Awards, presented every few months at the hospital.
This time around, officials wanted to recognize those people who make a difference and exemplify the word compassion.
Included was housekeeper Joanne Wicks, members of the Spiritual Care Team Elva Patterson-Rutters, Jannie vanNoppen and Sabina de Stetcher, as well as Doctor Mary Naciuk.
The awards were presented last week.
