A loan for the North Grenville Municipal Centre is up for renewal. Members of council were told that because of the uncertainty in future possible rate increases, it was recommended that the municipality lock in at a five year rate.
In 2005, $2.8 million was financed through this loan for the municipal centre. $1.5 million remains on the loan and is expected to be paid off in March of 2026.
Council will have the opportunity to vote to proceed with renewing the loan at next week’s meeting.
