Four local residents will make up North Grenville’s Canada 150 Community Leaders. Cholly Boland, Diana Fisher, Ryan Hreljac and Kevin Savoy will all act as official community voices for Canada 150 events in the municipality.
The idea came from the Federation of Canadian Municipalities, in partnership with the Government of Canada, to create a Canada 150 Community Leader network.
Leaders will serve as points of contact for sharing info about Canada 150 from FCM. They’ll also be invited to get involved in local events and reach out to other communities to share ideas.
