North Grenville Mayor David Gordon says council has offered to operate Kemptville College on a 3-year-interim in order to buy time for the Task Force as it pursues a sustainable solution. With provincially-appointed facilitator Lyle Vanclief in place, the Kemptville College Renewal Task Force is ready to establish a partnership with a new service provider but moving the municipality into operations in the meantime will ease the transition. A public Town Hall meeting is scheduled for the evening of Wednesday, July 16 at the WB George Centre, Kemptville Campus, where options for a new partnership will be presented to the community.
