North Grenville Mayor Nancy Peckford says the municipality has and will continue to benefit from a high functioning council.
Peckford, first elected in 2018, will return to the mayoral role as no one else stepped forward to run.
She tells the Vista Radio Newsroom that there are a few topics that come to mind when she thinks about what’s next for the municipality.
“We must continue to invest in our infrastructure, whether it’s roads, whether it’s parks and recreational facilities, whether it’s things like our sewage treatment plant.”
Unofficially elected as councilors are incumbents Deputy Mayor John Barclay and Deb Wilson as well as newcomers Tanya Deans and Robert Leach.
All of the winners will be officially certified on Tuesday.
