It’s an information session of sorts about Canada’s largest battery storage project.
Potentia Renewables Inc. and Skyview 2 BESS are holding their third community liaison committee meeting for the project on Wednesday at the Spencerville Mill and Museum.
Officials say the meeting is open for public observation and they add there will be an opportunity to ask questions at the end of it.
The meeting can alco be watched live online on zoom.
The Skyview 2 Battery Energy Storage Project, which will provide 411 megawatts of battery storage to Ontario’s power grid, is a partnership between Potentia and the Algonquins of Pikwakanagan First Nation.
It’s expected the site should be up and running by 2027.
