Here’s an opportunity to help newcomers understand what’s important to them.
The St. Lawrence-Rideau Immigration Partnership is updating its Leeds and Grenville Volunteer Translator List.
They say the list is a resource for different service providers and organizations in Leeds and Grenville to assist newcomers and other people.
Their volunteers provide their details, and are contacted on an as-needed basis, and coordinate timing to assist those who require interpretation or translation.
They say they are currently in the process of updating the list and would love to be able to add new languages or volunteers to it.
