The Edwardsburgh Cardinal Volunteer Fire Department is looking for some new recruits.

They are hosting a volunteer firefighter information session on Thursday, Nov. 13 at the fire station on County Road 44 in Spencerville.

The department is made up of close to 50 members who operate out of two stations, one in Spencerville and the other in Cardinal.

Volunteer firefighters fight fires, administer first aid, respond to hazardous material incidents and support fire prevention and safety education among other duties.
