Over 2,000 Hydro One customers to be impacted by planned power outage

We’re getting some advance notice about a planned power outage.

Hydro One says the power will be off between 7:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. this Sunday in Kemptville, North Gower, Oxford Mills and Oxford-on-Rideau.

They say more than 2,200 customers will be impacted and it’s being done so new equipment can be installed.

Impacted customers have been notified and are reminded to turn off appliances and make sure cellphones are fully charged ahead of time.
