Spring curbside brush and leaf collection scheduled for May

Spring curbside brush and leaf collection is taking place next month in the area.

Collection is slated to take place in the built-up areas of Cardinal on Tuesday, May 5 and May 19.

It will take place in Spencerville, Johnstown, and New Wexford on Thursday, May 7 and May 21.

The service is weather-dependent and any changes to the dates will be shared ahead of time.

You’re asked to place materials at the curb by 7:30 a.m. on your scheduled day and not to set bags out more than 48 hours in advance.

No roots will be collected and you’re asked to remove all root bases from trees and shrubs.
