Leeds County OPP say a U.S. resident has been charged with impaired driving after being stopped at the border.
Shortly after 3:30 p.m. Monday, police say they arrested the 27-year-old female driver after she failed to stop at the Canada-United States border.
Police arrived at the scene after they were contacted by Canada Border Services members who believed the driver to be impaired.
A Leeds OPP Drug Recognition Expert was called in.
The CBSA is also conducting a parallel investigation.
The woman was held in custody and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
