Area students are being introduced to the world of healthcare.
Kemptville District Hospital welcomed a second group of high school students for ‘Explore a Future in Healthcare’ on Wednesday.
KDH officials say the free seminar provides an opportunity for youth to learn about exciting careers in the healthcare industry.
That includes pivotal roles in maintenance, nursing, environmental services, pharmacy, dietary, physiotherapy, diagnostic imaging, and more.
They say staff enjoyed meeting the students and talking to them about career options in their respective fields.
KDH is thanking the students who participated, and their staff for helping to inspire the next generation of healthcare workers.
