KDH receives high grade from Accreditation Canada

Kemptville District Hospital is making the grade with flying colours.

KDH officials say they are delighted to announce that the hospital has received Accreditation with Commendation, and scored 99% on the standards, from Accreditation Canada.

Accreditation Canada carries out assessment programs for health and social service organizations across the country.

Officials with KDH say the high mark is an incredible achievement for the hospital, and they are so grateful for their staff, physicians and volunteers, who were so engaged and well prepared for the accreditation survey in September.

Some highlights of the review include compassionate care, commitment to patients and families as partners and pervasive focus on safety, collaboration, collegiality.
