New community kiosk unveiled in Kemptville

The North Grenville Chamber of Commerce is calling a new community kiosk the “final piece of a community enhancement project.”

The kiosk, located in the parking lot across from the North Grenville Dog Park, is in addition to the installation of benches, bike racks, and bike repair stations throughout North Grenville that was done last year.

Officials say it was made possible through funding received from a Regional Tourism Organization grant with the purpose of the project to improve wayfinding, promote tourism, and enhance cycling infrastructure throughout the municipality.

They say the kiosk will provide information for residents, visitors, and outdoor enthusiasts and is a shared space between the chamber, the municipality’s economic development and tourism department, and Ferguson Forestry.
