The wait is over: North Grenville now has public transit, available to anyone in the municipality.
NGTransit officially launched Monday and is available seven days a week, from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM Monday through Saturday and 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM Sundays.
Rides cost $5 one-way for adults or $3 one-way for youths ages 12-19. Monthly passes are also available, priced at $70 for adults or $42 for youths.
Residents interested in using the service are urged to sign up for it using the Blaise smartphone app, North Grenville website, or over the phone as soon as possible.
Staff members say anyone who has registered will get notifications about any changes to the service in the future.
