Health Unit: Kemptville office still at partial occupancy, no timeline for full opening

You still can’t go to the Leeds, Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit’s Kemptville office.

Staff members say the office is still experiencing renovation delays, nearly two months after it was initially meant to open.

The organization closed its previous office in town in November, relocating to the Kemptville Campus.

It was meant to open to the public after a week of renovations, but right now, only workers and staff members are allowed inside.

There’s no timeline yet for when clients will be allowed inside for services like immunizations, infant feeding and sexual health clinics, and preschool speech therapy.

In the meantime, many of those services are being offered at other Health Unit offices in communities like Brockville and Smiths Falls.
