The bobcat who went missing from Saunders Country Zoo in North Grenville is back home, after he went missing last week.
Carla Saunders says they got a tip early Wednesday morning and their crews went out and found him.
“Our crew immediately went out with live traps and nets, and within 15 minutes he locked himself in one of the traps,” Saunders said. “We picked him up, got him to the vet, got him all checked up and now he’s back where he belongs, eating his dinner.”
Saunders says the cat lost a fair bit of weight, and was wound up, but she’s happy to have him back.
“It’s amazing, I am ecstatic, and just so grateful that he’s home,” Saunders said.
