Police are charging a woman following a two-car-collision back in June that resulted in the death of a man from Cornwall.
On June 18, officers from the Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry OPP responded to the collision between Dickinson Road and Upper Canada Road in South Dundas, just before 5 p.m. on Highway 401.
Police say the crash saw a car going westbound collided with a westbound tractor trailer along the highway.
The passenger in the car, 22-year-old Richard Hesse-Andre of Cornwal was pronounced dead at the scene.
On December 15, officers arrested and charged the driver of that vehicle, 20-year-old Taisha Martell.Â
Martell faces charges including causing death by criminal negligence, impaired operation causing death, driving with an open container of liquor and being a novice driver with a blood-alcohol concentration above zero.Â
She appeared before a judge in Cornwall last week.
