North Grenville District High School students are getting ready to hit the stage. The drama club is performing the Broadway version of Beauty and the Beast.
Show dates are set for May 16 at 6:30pm and May 18 at 1:30pm. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for kids, with all proceeds going to the drama program. Performances are open to the whole community. Â
Fynn Lystiuk, who plays Gaston, says Beauty and the Beast was chosen because it’s something everyone can enjoy.
Over 40 students, in grades 7 to 12, are part of the musical. They have been working on the production since October.
Teacher Meredith Mott says the cast members are natural fits when it comes to the parts.
