Kemptville Pride stickers now available

People can show their support for Kemptville Pride.

Window stickers featuring the event’s logo are now available. The cost is $20, with all proceeds going to Kemptville Pride. The event, set for June 1, includes a parade and community picnic.

Rainbow Union Dundas & Grenville, a group that advocates for LGBTQ2+ family members and individuals in the community, is the force behind the event.

Founder Holly Brown says the stickers are great for vehicles, storefronts and homes. She says people with green space can get a lawn sign for an extra $5.

Kemptville Pride is also running a contest from now until June 1. People can win a gift basket by posting selfies with Kemptville Pride signs found around town. Participants are asked to tag Kemptville Pride and the name of the business when posting the photos.

Brown says the purpose of Kemptville Pride is to start conversations. She says she can just imagine how many families, individuals and colleagues are having discussions that weren’t happening before.

Kemptville Pride stickers will be available at Brewed Awakenings.
