The Kemptville Youth Centre (KYC) is getting ready for its Spring Sale. The event is set for April 26, from 2:00 to 6:00pm, and April 27, from 10:00am to 3:00pm. Donations of clothing, accessories and household items in good condition are being accepted now. People can drop off donations at the centre during business hours.
Operations Manager Barb Tobin says the money raised at the sale will go towards youth programming. She says some of the funds will be used to send children’s books, left over from the annual KYC Book Sale, to third world countries.
The KYC offers a variety of programming, including cook nights, sport nights and game nights. Â
Tobin says over 400 youth are using the centre on a regular basis every year and it continues to grow.
