Loserville musical coming to Kemptville

Kemptville students are working hard on the Loserville musical. Community performances of the show are set for May 10 and 12 at North Grenville District High School. The musical is about a nerd fittingly named Michael Dork who is working on the coding to send the first email. Teacher Meredith Mott says the musical is about the coming of age of technology.

In contrast to Dork, Eddie Arch – another Loserville character – wants to be famous for the sake of being famous. Mott says the modern references are very funny.

Over 30 students are involved in the production of the musical, which is open to the whole community. Tickets are available at the high school or at the door. The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for kids. All proceeds go back into the drama program at the high school.
