You don’t want to miss this! The fourth annual Shop Local Showcase is this Saturday. The event will feature 75 local vendors, including live demonstrations. Admission is free and you have the chance to win a 55” flat screen TV. Event organizer Anne Eves Kotlarchuck says supporting local businesses allows them to grow.
The Shop Local Showcase has grown year over year. Over 1,400 people attended the event last year and 2,000 are expected this year. The first 1,000 visitors will get a free Shop Local Showcase bag. There will also be free cookies and beer and wine samples. Kotlarchuck says people should come out and discover new local businesses.
The event will be held at the North Grenville Municipal Centre from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. For more information, check out the Shop Local Showcase Facebook page.
