The Rideau Crossing Family Health Centre has announced a new urgent care walk-in clinic.
Starting Saturday from 10:00am to 1:00pm patients of the Health Centre will have access to urgent after hour care. The Health Centre says appointments cannot be booked in advance and patients with non-urgent needs will be told to book appointments with their family doctors.
Clinic doctors will not be providing on-going, full service care and the clinic may close early if the clinic is full or empty. The Health Centre also stressed anyone with emergency medical concerns should still call 911 or go to the emergency department of the closest hospital.
