This weekend is the North Grenville Rural Summit.
On Saturday farmers and prospective agriculture entrepreneurs will meet for a day of workshops, moderated panel discussions and catered lunch, made with all local food. Some of the promised topics include starting a home-based agri-business, increasing farming productivity and starting a livestock operation.
The Executive Director of Just Food Moe Garahan will delivery the Keynote Speech but there will also be 15 other presenters. Meredith Luce, Phil Mosher and Shelley Lyall will all be speaking on a variety of topics.
