The Municipality of North Grenville is holding a public meeting today on proposed changes to development charges.
At 7:00pm this evening in the Municipal Centre residents are invited to attend a discussion about proposed changes to the Development Charges Act of 1997. According to the municipality anyone at the meeting can have their opinion heard in the proposed by-law and background study.
Development charges are fees on new development that the municipality says protect tax payers. More information about the development charges can be found here.
