Property owners in North Grenville can now apply for some help with their property enhancement.
Applications are now being accepted for the Community Improvement Plan Façade, Landscape and Signage Grant Program, which will supply matching funds up to $5,000 for eligible commercial residential or commercial properties. The money must be used on façade improvements, street fronts including publically accessible areas of private property or landscape improvements.
The deadline to apply for this part of the grant program is May 31st but there are also two ongoing initiatives businesses can apply for. The Tax Increment-Based Incentive Grant provides municipal tax grants while the Brownfields Financial Tax Assistance Program provides tax relief to brownfield sites specifically.
To be eligible for the Community Improvement Plan businesses must meet a number of requirements, including being located in the green section of the map above. Complete eligibility requirements can be found here.
