Scams continue to be a big problem for some residents in the region.
Grenville County OPP says it continues to receive numerous calls regarding possible fraudulent calls, emails or pop pops. Grenville County OPP Constable Suzanne Runciman says the number of calls last year was quite high.
Runciman says the number one scam they continue to see is the one revolving around the Canadian Revenue Agency.
Runciman says if you think something seems off, don’t respond.
Runciman says there’s a number of other scams as well including one that involves your computer.
