The numbers from this year’s Kemptville Live have been tallied.
During this week’s council meeting the Kemptville Live Team presented their annual wrap up. According to the presentation, just shy of 17,250 people attended the event and while they were there over 1.25 million dollars was spent. There were guests in attendance from eight provinces or territories, five American states and the United Kingdom. There were also concert goers from 174 communities in Ontario, not including North Grenville.
Some suggested areas of improvement include increasing the camping area, extending the event a day, adding shuttle services and introducing chances for community partnership. Next year’s event is scheduled for July 18th to 22nd. No musical artists have been confirmed yet.
