The Ace has been caught in Kemptville.
The Kemptville Lions Club has announced that Lillian Loney was the winner of their Catch-the-Ace fundraiser. This was the last draw of the first round of Catch-the-Ace so a winner was guaranteed. Jamie Forsyth won the weekly prize and selected envelope 11, which contained the King of Hearts. The suspense was short lived as Loney selected the envelope containing the Ace of Spades with the next choice. She received a jackpot of just under $11,500.
The Lion’s Club says Catch-the-Ace will return for a second round in December. Tickets will be on sale December 4th and the first draw will take place on December 12th. Up to date Catch-the-Ace information can be found here.
