A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect for the area.
Environment Canada issued the watch this morning saying there’s a potential for severe thunderstorms to develop this afternoon and this evening.
Environment Canada says these thunderstorms are capable of producing damaging wind gusts, hail and torrential rain.
It says that the rain could cause flash floods and water pooling on roads.
Environment Canada says you should continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by the service.
