A new Board has been created at the Brockville General Hospital.
A release from the hospital says provincially-appointed supervisor Kevin Empey has been looking at ways of establishing new independent governance. He’s been working with a number of community individuals including Jim Cooper and David Beatty.
Empey says both men will now be part of the hospital’s new board.
Cooper will serve with Empey as co-chairs on the board and Beatty will also be apart of it for a one-year term.

Empey says they’re fortunate to have the support from both men. He says they’re committed to the Hospital’s success.
Empey says he’ll continue to recruit new members through the month and hopes to announce the names by the end of August.
