Families can now enjoy the new accessible play structure at South Gower Park.
The new structure was installed in late June after the previous structure was removed.
While most of the work is complete, North Grenville Director of Parks, Recreation and Culture Mark Guy says there’s a few outstanding tasks to be finished off. That includes a few last pieces of the structure, some landscaping and tree planting.
Guy says there’s a special event being planned later this summer in conjunction with the new park.
The municipality has said that the new accessible play structure will allow for more inclusive play for all children. Council earmarked $100,000 for the project in the 2017 budget.
