Investments announced at Grenville Community Futures Development Corporation AGM

A number of investments have been announced at the Grenville Community Futures Development Corporation Annual General Meeting.

Both the Kemptville Live Music Festival and the Tallman Truck Centre have received money through the development corporation.

The GCFDC says the festival received just over $20,000 towards technological enhancements in admission, stage productions and audience engagement, equipment purchases, and marketing costs to expand the festival from three to four days.

The GCFDC also says Tallman Truck Centre received $50,000 to support technological enhancements in sales, service and parts management, and internal collaborations to achieve gains in productivity and sales.

A number of new members also became part of the Board of Directors within the GCFDC. The changes include:

  • Chris McCorkell taking over the Chair position from Sally Litz
  • Walter McWilliams incoming Vice-Chair
  • Bonnie Pidgeon incoming Secretary-Treasurer
  • Cholly Boland newly elected Director
  • Laura Bradley newly elected Director
  • Lisa Temple newly elected Director
