Debris on the waters can be very unsafe for boaters.
That’s the message from the Brockville Police Service.
Police say that due to high waters, there’s the potential for more floating debris on the St. Lawrence River. That could cause a hazard for boaters who are moving across the water.
The service is also reminding boaters to slow down and minimize their wake with the higher water levels. It says wakes could damage properties along the shoreline.
