Volunteers at Kemptville District Hospital have been honoured at a volunteer appreciation luncheon.
At the recent event, Kemptville District Hospital Auxiliary President Connie Parsons noted that 157 volunteers put in over 11,500 hours at the hospital in the past year. A total of $65,000 was also donated from 2016 to the hospital for the third year in a row.
During the luncheon, certificates for five years of service were presented to Louise Shaw and Lois Watts-Sculthorpe. Pins were awarded for 10 years of service to Patrick Brauneisen, Sue Cotter, Allison Penny, Douglas Southcott and Donna Thibert.
