That’s the message from the Leeds, Grenville & Lanark District Health Unit. Manager of Community Health Protection Joan Mays says spring is a good time to get your water tested for bacteria.
Mays also said cottagers should have their well water tested. Water bottles for testing are available at the local health unit. Once the bottle has been dropped off you should be able to retrieve your results within a few days.
