Municipal employees that carry a phone or tablet will be using Apple products in the future. The Municipality of North Grenville is introducing a new Telecommunications Device Policy for employees. Those employees that need phones or tablets for their position, will eventually receive an iPhone and/or iPad. Deputy Clerk Katie Valentin says it makes things easier.
The policy would also regulate who gets a product and for what use.
The bylaw to establish the policy still needs to be passed by North Grenville Council next week.
