Students from grade eight at North Grenville District High School have competed at a Skills Ontario Cardboard Boat Challenge.
Teams were expected to build cardboard boats to compete in challenges including a race and weight challenge.
The Knights finished the race portion behind their competition, the Newfoundland Knights, but they came back to win the weight competition by being able to hold five students, weighing almost 525 pounds, before sinking.
The competition took place at the Nepean Sportsplex last week.
